Today was a good day :]
Last night we had a farewell party for one of my Japanese friends at the dorms. Didn’t get to sleep until like 4 o___o hahaa. So today I just slept in and woke up at 12. Made myself a sandwich to eat :D yum yum. Theeennnn….i skyped with some of my favorite people back at home like Winona, Alyson and Joe G. !!!! and then with Peter later :3 Actually it was winona and them that told me to update my tumblr -____-
Theeen went off to Lalaport with Adam. It’s this huge mall in Funabashi :D we just walked around though and played a game of taiko at the arcade hahaa :p fun fun
2 months..
So much for trying to update often -____- hahaa.
Too many things have happened since i’ve last updated >____< but from now on ill try to update more often.
Halloween and Thanksgiving passed by without even me realizing it. Japanese people really don’t do anything..so yeah. I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here! :D
Starting to get signs of homesickness :/ miss my family and friends. As cool as the people are here, I miss my buddies back at home <3

Sooo..today I was supposed to open a bank account but instead I got a phone :D yay!
Kristen (also from UIC) and I bumped into our friend who was on her way to get a cell phone with some of her friends so we decided to tag along. The whole process was actually very stressful cause of the language barrier -___- we shopped around trying to look for a cheap pay as you go phone. Thank god our Japanese friend Kuma came with us cause no way we could do this on our own >__< I couldn’t understand half of the things the people said at the stores. Hahaa. So he pretty much spent the whole day with us so we could get our cell phones. I’m very grateful for all the help he gave us today :] Aaaand to thank him my friends and I treated him to dinner. So yup..long day.

Ended up going to this burger place called Mos Burger for dinner. Mmm kalbi burger :3
my tiny dorm room and the view from the balcony :] in my dorm it has a mini kitchen with a sink, stove top and fridge which is nice. there is also a bathroom as well. it’s pretty small but its cozy :3
I’m pretty much unpacked. I stopped by the supermarket and dollar store to pick up a few necessities. Also went to the ward to submit paper work and stuff. So yup..did a lot of walking today haha. Getting hungry though..i should go find some food >____<

Finally made it to Japan safe and sound :] I’m so so very tired though >____<

It still hasn’t hit me that tomorrow at 12:50 pm I’ll be on a plane to go to Japan and won’t be back for 10 months. I think I really down played the idea in my head..but then again I’m just going there and coming back so what’s the big deal? When I tell other people about it they’re always like “Whoaaaa really??” and make it a big deal. And then I wonder whether or not I should be having the same reaction to all of this. Hahahaa…yeah.
Yup..so i’m pretty much trapped at home today so i can finish packing, cleaning and whatever. My mom has made sure of it -___- I totally got yelled at for asking if I can go out and grab lunch with my friend.
Anyways..I think I’m making good progress aside from being distracted every 10 min. Hahahaaa.
Yuuppp my last day in Chicago!! I know when I leave I’m gonna miss all my friends like crazy >____< my family too of course! I’ll keep all you guys posted though :D And i’m totally up for skype dates on the weekends if anyone is interested :p
Hiiii :3 So yaah…
I’ll be doing a student exchange program at Chiba University in Japan for 2 semesters. I’ll be leaving on the Sept. 29th and will be back by the end on July 2011.
I figure I’d do a blog thing where I can post up pics, tell you about my day and stuff.

As of right now..i’ve been packing and sorting out a few things before I have to leave. Packing is such a pain >___< in the mean time I’m counting the days I have left here..
it’s making me :D and T-T and the same time.. sigh. a part of me is excited to go and the other part of me is sad that i’m leaving my friends and family for so long..
